First of all, your husband clearly dosn't understand the condition as he should be more supportive. Secondly, unfortunately feeling tired is something that you will have to deal with and it will never completely go away. The only way to make it more managable is this; throughout you day, activities and rest periods should be balanced. If one day you do lots of activities and the next day you nothing, this will only make you feel worse. Try to schedule perhaps 2-3 30 minute rests in your day where you lie down quietly, allowing your body to recharge.
Take carexx

This stage will pass - you don't say how long you had the ME.
I have ME since 2000 and I had the initial sleeping period when I need so much sleep and fell asleep while someone was talking to me even. I got sleepy and tired talking/eating and friends thought I was just so rude or having late nights or something.
They did'nt understand the first thing about ME as most people do not understand - yes I was called lazy/deperessed and that it was all in my head.
I got rid of most of these people and those that did'nt have to go - I sorted out after a few extreme measures I won't go into these. The rest dissapeasred into thin air.
Your husband may be more understanding if he had more information anout ME some education video's are available which might help you could watch this together.
Your body needs long lengthy times of sleeping with ME.
I hardly sleep now at all in fact it's the opposite I cant sleep at night - but i'm still tired and very sore. I found that having sexual intercours was very sore on my whole body I was exhasusted and needed extra sleep to compensate for this and my husband was not sympathetic with the situtation.
I myself find drinking 8 glasses of filtered water to detox helps the symptoms of ME. I find hydrotherpy - sauna's refeloxogy - aromathearpy massage - toning table -aqui chi detox foot spa - yoga - listening to healing tapes and reiki healing. I use reiki on my-self as I attended some self healing to learn how to use it to help me relax and I find these all help my condition. I also have Fibromyalgia if you like to visit the link below you can see some views re., ME/Fibromyalgia I hope these help some sufferer's discuss sleeping for long period's.

I had this condition for nine years, got better but had the odd relapse. Top tips
1. Homeopathy but can it come back after
2. Reflexology self treat on hands. Recommend 'Reflexology A Step by Step Guide' by Anne Gillanders
3. Energy Medicine by Donna Eden has some energy exercises that I use in conjunction with reflexology
4. Aromatherapy oils - lavender a few drops on hanky, rosemary if feeling heavy headed. Valerie Worwood has a whole set of recipes for muscle pain etc in ME in her book 'The Fragrant Pharmacy'
5. Ignore any **** who tells you its all in your imagination and just to exercise more. While it is true no exercise means you feel able to do
less and less, doing too much means ending up in bed the next day.
As for your husband, I suggest he reads Dr Anne Macintyre M.E. the best book I have come across on ME or Dr David Smith Understanding M.E. - rather technical, but excellent. Perhaps he will then stop bugging you. But you do need your sleep because your hormonal system is screwed up and hormones control so many body functions. Also the virus causing it can interfere with the workings of any cells it is hiding out in. If he can't be bothered, I will happily email you the essay I wrote on this for my aromatherapy diploma.

I have M.E too. I have had it for 10 years now and the only thing that helps me is Temazepam. I have passed the sleeping a lot (except in winter) and my main problem is the lack of circadian cycle.
There isn't a cure. It bugged my friends too- I just found new friends that understood it wasn't my fault.
Good luck to you.

Thyroid disease is one of the most common health problems we face today. From a practical standpoint, there are many ways to approach this issue. Learn here https://tr.im/FgwUy
Hypothyroidism, or underactive thyroid, is a very common problem, and there are many reasons for this, including drinking chlorinated and fluoridated water, and eating brominated flour.
Chlorine, fluoride, and bromine are all in the same family as iodine, and can displace iodine in your thyroid gland.
Secondly, many people simply aren't getting enough iodine in their diet to begin with. The amount you get from iodized salt is just barely enough to prevent you from getting a goiter.
