Could try this:-
Fill a bowl with warm water.
Add an aluminium item (such as a saucepan lid);
and a couple of handfulls of SODA CRYSTALS.
Put the silver items in this water for a while.
It should clean them.

Are they silver plated or rhodium plated? Moistened cigarette ash on a soft toothbrush (preferably an old one). Toothpaste on a soft toothbrush. Commercial products can be very aggressive if the plating is not too good.

place the rings in aluminum foil with some baking soda, fold the foil over the rings, but not real tight, put this into a glass dish and add warm water...let sit for about 1 hr and then rinse off the rings and dry w/a soft cloth applying light pressure to remove any dirt/tarnish

there's a silver polishing cloth you can buy that is not very expensive. You can get them at costume jewelry stores in the mall (i.e. Claire's, Icing, etc.). The other suggestions may ruin your jewelry!

Drop them in a glass of coke.

If all else fails, use something like Silvo/Brasso etc. or a good polish.
