no. i don't think it increases love, it increases territorial possessiveness. think about this situation; a couple is out at the bar, she decides to flirt a bit to make him a little jealous. he in turn starts paying more attention to her etc. did he love her anymore than before she started flirting? no. he just got more attentive because she got flirty. making a loved one jealous on occasion isn't always a bad thing, it can spice things up a bit, but doing it constantly can drive someone away.

Generally speaking making someone jealous only leads to trouble, and less love. However we are all individuals and some people "get off" on being made to feel jealous of their partner.
Reckon that this question will draw a lot of different answers, because they are only peoples opinions. The ones to take stock of are those that have had some experience of jealousy and can tell you what the result was.
One man I know of was married for over 25 years, and when he tried to add a "spark" to the marriage by making his wife jealous, she turned to his best friend. They divorced not long after.

"A competent and self confident person is incapable of jealousy in anything. Jealousy is invariably a symptom of neurotic insecurity."
Robert A. Heinlein, Time Enough for Love.
I believe this assessment. Why would you want to make someone jealous anyway? If you're not getting the attention you need, seek it elsewhere. There are many loving people out there. Now go and find them!!!!!!!!

Love is not profit that can be increased if you use some good marketing tools. But being wise in relations is always very very welcome.
