roger federer is considered as the best tennis player the game has ever seen. plus he's only 23 years old and stills has a long way to go. i hope he'll break pete sampras's victories in grand slam. that is win at least 15 grand slam titles

wow. assuming you mean tennis, it's a very tough choice. Roger Federer is amazing and surpasses Pete Sampras by a little in my opinion. As for women, it is hard to pick because there was no one who was really top. Chris Evert and Steffi Graff were very good though. Or maybe you mean current player??

according to rankings roger federer of Switzerland is the best player in the world but i think Rafael nadal of Spain rank no 2 is catching up to that level

Well if you say tennis, I'd say Pete Sampras, he played amazingly back in my teenage days. If you say basketball, then, the best player is Dwyane Wade. Football: Peyton Manning. I'm not familiar with anything else.

Roger Federer because he has won 8 grand slams and still counting.I hope he can beat Sampras's record of 14 grand slams.

It's easy to say that Federer is the best.
Yes he is...on grass....no doubt.
But on clay.....Nadal is the best....no doubt.
The real test will be the hard court season....starting about now, finishing with the US open.
