and left me out, I feel this is , wrong it is, races, I am human too , and have feeling regardless of what I am
but I had a really good mate at school , and she was mix blood english and something else, I think that was the reson me and her were friends, and when I told her this , she did agree, that we were different, I went college but didnt feel different at all

Yes it is still very sad. You will also find most races cluster in one geographical area. I personally feel it is time to interact and mingle with members of different races and even make friends with them. I have had a good chance to mingle with perhaps every single race in the planet - and must say, it is a very enriching experience. Race should not be an issue today in a modern world, but unfortunately racism still exists!

Alot of people don't agree with race mixing. One of the greatest things on earth is the fact that we are all a different race, background, culture. If we keep mingling like we do, we will all be one race. Bad Idea. I like going places and sampling other cultures. I want to travel to get to what I feel like, not having it around me all the time. Also, most races want to be with themselves because they are comfortable with themselves. For instance, some black people still blame white people for the situation. They won't get over the past. The jews did so why cant they. So you have blacks that avoid whites and whites avoid blacks. Hispanics are illegally sneaking over and americans are getting pissed at it, so we avoid them. Just one big circle of fun.

People tend to stick with what they know and what makes them comfortable.
I am mixed, also but have not found that others treat me any differntly than the next person.
I am not trying to be nasty here but maybe if you spoke the language a bit better it might help more than your birth lineage.
People usually will mix with others they feel are their peers and when someone speaks brokenly they do shy away.
Good luck with this though and I hope you make friends with all kinds of people.

u didnt say what country ur from but if ur from England like ur friend i dont think the problem is that ur mixed race, maybe u just dont make friends easily. If ur a nice person then u will have lots of friends.
Dont look at ur colour as an obstical for making friends because
u will just be lying to urself.............maybe u need to just try harder.I think ur a quiet kind of person so u will not make so many new friends............."the more u sow the more u will reap"
meaning the more u talk to different people the more friends u will make......................good luck!

People like to socialize with people they have most in common with. They also don't want to feel uncomfortable not knowing how to deal with someone without insulting them. This is mainly why same race people stay together it is just easier. I wouldn't take it personal because most people don't hate you or others because of their skin color, I think their are ignorant things that they believe of people based on wrong information given to them by media, friends and/or family members and you don't really find out that a lot of stereotypes are untrue until you go to college where you spend most of your time with people that you are usually not around. Some people will realize that the stereotypes aren’t true but still don't know how to relate to others without offending them. For example in the US some blacks don't like to be called blacks, they like to be called African Americans or Afro Americans, and some of them are not from America and don't care too much for African Americans so the like to be called Jamaicans or Trinidadians, or Haitians, etc, so what do you do if your a white person who is speaking about someone who you are fond of but don't know their name, do you say some black people, African American, Jamaican, Haitian, ect. It is hard to try to be friendly without hurting someone’s feelings. Some white people don't like being called white because they say their skin does not look white. Anyway my point is we group together as not to offend each other. Although some of us go out and mix with each other to learn more about other races therefore allowing us to be less ignorant and aware. I think when we decide to stop calling each other a color that will make all the difference. Americans should be called Americans, like people from China who refer to themselves as Chinese.

well in my opinion..you cant look at somebodys color of skin or race you got to look deeper, whats actually is on the inside..dont look at somebody and see there a different race..cuz we are all people and we like what we like..and we dont want anybody to look at us different just because were not the same race or down on us..and my advise is to look deeper than the race..
