Where I am, in Singapore --- We usually have pump attendants at petrol kiosk or stations, who would assist drivers to pump petrol. They are usually retirees, though not all. Some would offer to clean your car windows or windscreens, while the tank is waiting to be filled up. Do you normally tip them even without the extra service?

I know taxi drivers gave tip to them. But now taxi pump their fuels at their own taxi-operative stations.
In the past I tipped S$0.50, now I dun. Usually I'll give 'handsome' tips during New Year.

No, I don't tip them. In Singapore, unlike New Zealand, China and other countries, it's not a common practice to give tips.
We can look at it in another way: They serve and clean our windscreen to differentiate themselves from other companies. I would say Shell's service is very good. It's always a pleasant experience when I go to Shell stations to pump petrol. =)

we don't get any extra service it is all self serve and no I don't tip anyone at a petrol station.
