Since you said my favourite sound, I'll tell you my favourite scent: freesia. It reminds me so much of when I went to London on my own and I used to go down to the tube station at Covent Garden and buy a bunch every couple days from a lovely old woman. It was a fantastic time.

I'd have to go with your choice as well..nothing more beautiful, precious and heartbreaking at the same time than the uninhibited glee of a child laughing with joy. The other day I was walking out of the store and into the parking lot with my son who is 16 months and he saw some seagulls flying around, there were maybe 8 or so....he squealed with such utter delight and pointed as if he had never saw anything more terrific in his life...maybe he hadn't. He's a pretty happy kid but even I was a little thrilled by how great he thought those birds were. My husband calls them "flying rats." Shows you the difference in mentality. Thank God we have children to remind us that the simplest things aren't so simple except that we take them for granted. Dandylions, bugs, flying seagulls... I think they are beautiful against a gray sky and the moutains. I wish I could have bottled that sound, that very second, that day...I'm just blessed to have the memory of it though I'm sure it will lose its vividness. Oh well...love in Christ, ~J~ <><

You are definitely right about that. The sound of children laughing is just wonderful, and add the smell of your favorite amusement park and you have yourself a afternoon to daydream, reminisce and enjoy!

The smell of my first girlfriend's hair as she lay sleeping. Waking up next to her in the morning and feeling like the happiest guy in the world! I wouldn't mind a bottle of that.

Smell of freshly cut grass on an overcast day. Nothing like it.
I like the idea of the sound of a didgeridoo in a bottle though.

I would put the sound of children in a bottle and bury it, so I didn't have to listen to it again.
Bah, humbug.

My girlfriend right after....................................ha, you thought I was going to say sex didn't you. Wrong. Right after her bubble bath. Sight and smell. She always looks so peaceful and relaxed and just melts into my arms. The smell is undescribably fresh and beautiful. She never smells funky, but right after her bath, it is just so refreshing. I want to carry that smell with me 24/7

sound children laughing, smell of a new born baby.
when kids are laughing it lifts you up, and a smell of a baby reminds me of my kids when they were born.
