I think it is a very serious and real issue.
that people deny or accuse the majority of science on the subject is a mystery to me.
it is very simple yes there exisist natural reason for climate heating........
but if you look at the amount of Carbon Dixiode put into the atmosphere it is riduclous that politicains not take action.
What good will money do us if the planet is unliveable, mass droughts or floods, more intense huricanes.....
all i know is when you begin to find polar bears drowning because they can't find solid ice then something really bad is coming.........
this is a moral issue.
the first actions we take are
bring awareness to the cause......once millions of people demand action the people in office must listen.
Vote in politicians who will take action.......time is running out. You cant have the status quo.....if one politician doesn't see the benifit in preserving the only planet we live on then something is wrong.
when government puts its power into action we can use all of our resources all the greatest minds our countries have to find more solutions.
last is informing the public on what can be done on the personal level.
millions of people working together can make a change.

Waht is the Greenhous effect?
The Green house effect is when ozone gases, which are given off by the burning of fossil fuels, which humas burn as power. The ozone Gases add to our ozone. The thicker ozone let heat in but does not let it out.
Currently, we need wind, and solar power, possibly even Hydrogen Power. Yes all the incresing weather problems are our fault, The heat in the US, The flooding in El Paso, Texas, The extreme flooding in Korea, the 20 feet of snow this winter in Japan, the hurricanes, including Katrina, and WIlma. At the current moment we are thinking dry weather with tempretures in the 70's in the summer, no white christmas this year, but another way is a super freeze, air tempretures well below normal, and 10 feet of snow in the upcoming years. Also if the super freeze does come on the same year as a sumjmer like this one, rapidly droping tempretures will result in very unstable weather, meaning, lot of storms.
(I am hoping to be a meteoroligist when I am older)

There is no longer any doubt that human activity plays a huge role in global warming. The correlation between temperature and atmospheric carbon dioxide is ample proof.
Each of us can help by using less energy, recycling, driving fuel-efficient cars etc. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. But small steps won't effect real change unless there is political will. We need to convince our political leaders to sign on to the Tokyo protocol and to get serious about industrial pollution. Doing things llike relaxing the clean air standards is counterintuitive and counter-productive. It may not be too late...but it will be if those in Washington continue to be motivated by greed.

YES. I think Global Warming is terrible, and governments deseperate for development are the ones to blame, and that's all of us in this world who didn't see our part to STOP such harmful advances before we were ready. It's such a vicious cycle and a hopeless case - therefore we should just really STOP being selfish. I mean, okay, there're people out there saying things like, what does it matter if I keep my air-con on it won't save the world. Or, yea it's just one piece of paper so what it's not going to save a rainforest. What people don't realize is that THE FIRST STEP IS ALL IT TAKES TO TRIGGER THE SECOND STEP. It's all about negative responses and laziness on part of humans and it's just such a headaching problem to think of. My belief is that yes, we do have a part in all the natural disasters and definitely a hand in the ice caps melting and we should just start doing something, anything that would help. It's not like the information isn't out there either.

The gradual warming of the earth's atmosphere due to our various Industries , Automobiles and all other activites is called GLOBAL WARMING.
We can prevent it by changing our attitudes and totally be with nature in each and every aspect of our life.
