Well if you just walk up to any girl in the street and say that. I guess they would ignore you. If a girl ignores you when you tell her that you love her, then she obviously isn't taking you seriously. First rule of telling someone you love them is that you should be in a relationship with them.

Not all boys mean "I love you." At the rate things are going today, many girls believe that the boys only want to get down to business, if you know what I mean. Some boys use that as an escape goat, to get into a girl pants, if sweet talking isn't working on the girls. Many of us are just too intelligent, and it's like we have this type of radar sensor, that we can tell when a boy means it or doesn't mean it when he says he loves us. That's just like me saying out of the blue, that "I love you," which is not true because I don't know you, but in that context I don't love you, but I love everybody, and I appreciate everybody's uniqueness, but that's a different kind of showing love. But yeah....that's why we ignore it, you have to show us to make us believe it.

Dear Micky, if you say I love you to any girl and she doesn't melt down means, simply, that she is not that into you and that she is not the one for you, being the best advice to move away and look for another girl. If you say I love you to a girl that doesn't love you, she'll feel terrible because she does not, so she'll try 1/ ignore you 2/ tell you white lies so you go away but she does not get offended. 3/ to be a bitx so you go away. It depends of the style of the girl, but believe me if a woman loves you, she'll be kissing you all around when you say the magic words to her.

Girls does not ignore all boys they are selective very much they are choosy.They wait and watch the situation very intelligent and smarty.Any boy who the desired quality is selected finally.and say I LOVE U TOO !

Some boys use that to play a girl into doing something they wouldn't normally do otherwise.
She ignors him because she knows better.

It depends on the boy, the girl, and the situation, but words are cheap, and boys usually don't mean it when they say it.

Girls base their lives on feelings, not words. If they don't feel that you really love them then they will ignore you no matter what you say.
Also, love is a two-way thing, so if they don't feel they love you then they don't want to encourage you.

It's not real or genuine and is only a seeking of approval. Iignoring would be the only sensible reaction.

but if a guy told me he loved me..and i loved him...
