I enjoy both bands, and also managed to see several Queen concerts back in the seventies. However the Beatles have achieved a Lengendary status that Queen will never come close to. Plus the Beatles had 15 number one albums, as far as I know this is the most by any artist.

tell u what.. the beatles might hav been the best in the 60s but Queen is definitely the best of the 70s.. there was a survey to rate the best song by a rock band ever and the Queen's "Bohemian rhapsody" topped the charts and followed by the Beatles' "Strawberry fields forever".. now u know who's the best.. its THE QUEEN man.. there has never been a song like "WE WILL ROCK U"..

Queen....
Beatles were kind of sweet and I like the Beatles....but there's something about Queen that hits you in the gut and holds on forever.

dont get me wrong i love them both but the beatles by far outdo queen. far more hit records and their influence on music and culture is out of this world. queen is great and have done so much in their career but they fall short to the beatles hands down

The Beatles paved the way for all the pop/rock culture and music that came afterwards. The Queen were original, they were good, but you really can't compare them.
