Dale Chihuly is a glass artist. Here's his website: http://www.chihuly.com/ I love watching him create his work from molten glass, and the alternate realities he creates when he makes his various scenarios. Sometimes the glass looks better than the real object!

I also love Banksy, who is a modern graffiti artist in London, because of the chances he takes to create his art. There's a bounty on his head and he takes chances with where and when he creates his art.

Here is his website: http://www.banksy.co.uk/

Check them out for yourself!

Yes. I feel a deep connection with Robert Frost and Sylvia Plath.
I love Frost's succinct yet powerful language. What I love most is how evocative his poems arehow hed paints with words emotion time and place. He places you there in his world but makes it feel like your own .One of my favorites is" Bereft".
As to Sylvia Plath I did a paper on her in eighth or ninth grade, which involved fairly extensive research about her life including a book of correspondence with her mother. I learned why she was so tortured a soul,
I also learned how killed herself and left her children just when her life seemed so full and happy...This angered me greatly...though later in life I too would experience horrible depression... My favorite poem of hers when I was a kid was "Daddy Daddy You Bastard"...this anger for her father spoke to me and struck a dissonant chord within my own tortured soul. Now I find it somewhat more poignant.... I suppose Sylvia was the poet of my discontent and Robert Frost the poet of my heart.

John Irving hits me on a ridiculously emotional level. The way he writes almost haunts me in this kind of silly girlie way that just blows my mind. I absolutely love his books.
