Who would win in a real fight between Andre "The Giant" and Bruce Lee both in their prime?

This was the pointless arguement du jour to pass the time at work. It was 5-4 in favor of Bruce, though I was on the other side.

The one big fallacy among bar brawlers (that's not you say that you are one) is that the bigger you are, the more invincible you become. In this case, Andre the Giant was an all-star wrestler. An actor who pretended to fight. Bruce Lee was a fighter who pretended to act (literally). There has never been a wrestler who could hold a candle to Bruce Lee in a fight. One of Lee's training partners was Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Kareem had a reach that was double what Bruce could manage, yet Kareem never in his life laid a hand (or foot) on Bruce in sparring. Ever.

Andre's size means nothing, if he's too big and slow to hit anything. He would have been nothing more than a great big punching bag.

Seriously, Bruce Lee trained to fight his entire life, While Andre was more or less an entertainer.
I actually saw Andre live in Greensboro N.C. in the early 80's.He walked right past me on the way to the ring, and he remains to this day the biggest man I have ever seen in person.
