Five years. Sorry, just trying to scare a younger relative out of having it done.

Doubt it very much.

It would really depend on how well you look after it. You have to ensure that it doesn't catch on anything (clothes, belts etc) and you keep as much scented things away from it until it is healed.

Make sure you have it done by a well known, clean piercer and ensure that it's done with a ring. I've seen too many recently that have been pierced with a banana bar - that's not right. it doesn't give the navel & piercing any room for movement (we all get a bit bloated by the end of the day).

You should be given instructions on how to care for your piercing - follow that & you never know - Friday may be fine.

Good luck :-)

The navel definitely takes the longest to heal approx 3-5 mo. you could desire to save it clean and attempt to not touch it with out washing your palms. H2Ocean is the terrific product for any piercing. you could desire to be waiting to get it at any tattoo save or order on line. in case you maintain touching it, then a keloyd will strengthen. it is sort of a pimple on your piercing. in case you could not get your palms on H2Ocean use antibacterial cleansing soap. I used to very own a tattoo save so i'm hoping this facilitates you.

My fiancee battled infection for nearly a year and then she gave up and took the piercing out. She had been back to the guy (who did it) and the doctor on several occasions.
Some people just don't heal that well. She eventually gave up.

From my experience it was fine the next day. think ive been one of the lucky ones though.

Use surgical spirit on it which helps to health the piercing and keep it clean.

It varies from person to person.

Navel piercings are notorious for infections, so make sure you clean the area regularly.

I suppose it depend on the individual, but mine took about six months to completley recover. Just make sure you clean it twice daily until it does.
