please explain how the cloroplast is suited for the process of photosyntheis and explain which leaves are structurally suited for the process of photosyntheis. It is for my little sis (i took art instead)

Well, the job of chloroplast is to help convert suns energy into chemical energy. I think.

Light photons will hit it(chloroplast) and it will give off excited state electrons that will enter chemical cycles to produce sugar molecules. Burning off those sugar molecules provide energy for a plant to grow.

It's like solar panel converting sun rays into form of energy you can use inside your house.

Leaves that are large and flat will be ideal to catch lot of sun rays.

You can research chloroplasts and photosynthesis through wikipedia. All the words they have in blue, you can click on to learn more. All green plants, some algea and bacteria are suited for photosynthesis.

inside the clhoropast, there is a substance called grana. clhoropast is a green coloured substance, and the leaves that is suitable for photosynthesis is the green one.
