Hi
I bought a toilet meant for rabbit to use. However my rabbit is kinda mischeivous as it does not aim its poo poo inside the toilet but around the toilet. How other ways can I train my rabbit to pee and poo inside the toilet meant for rabbit to use?

I also realised my rabbit rather greedy and looks like it eats alot. Everytime I went to visit the rabbit, the rabbit will run around my legs. It stopped when I pour foods inside the bowl. Why is it always hungry? It likes to run in circles around me. beside it is hungry any reasons?

The rabbit may be designed poorly (hard for the rabbit to get into, etc) or the smell of the toilet or what's used in the toilet may not be to the rabbit's liking. Normally you find the corner where the rabbit likes to pee and poop the most and put the litter box there.

Rabbits like to get your attention when they are hungry. Dogs and cats will do the same thing. Cats will weave in and out of your legs or rub up against you. My rabbits when they are hungry will start going back and forth inside of their cage when they see me coming around with the feed. For feed, you should give your rabbit enough rabbit pellets that it barely finishes it's feed up in 24 hours. If there is food left at the end of 24 hours, reduce the amount you give it. If you weigh the feed on a dietetic scale. An adult small breed rabbit will eat about 4 ounces of rabbit pellets a day. An adult large breed rabbit will eat about 6 ounces (1 cup) of rabbit pellets a day.

The poo around the toilet is actually a territory marking thing. this could be good since it is marking it's toilet as it's own. Is it a male or female? Getting your rabbit spayed or neutured can help with this. The running around is just the same thing as if you are about to feed a cat or dog and they are all happy because it's dinner time.

You really need to read up about rabbits. You need to fill the litter box with wood stove pellets. Then you can put the timothy hay in the box to encourage your rabbit to use it. It's like reading the newspaper on the toilet. Your rabbit was running around your feet because it was very happy it was time to eat. You should read the House Rabbit Handbook and check out these websites.

if your rabbit runs around your legs it more than likely means they are ready to breed.

It could be that it's just really happy to see you, and the fact that it's dinner time, perhaps makes him/her really happy.
