My HP PSC 1402 printer always prints a test print page when I switch it on. How can I stop this from happening? I have looked at all settings and there is nothing about a test page anywhere. Any suggestions?

attempt only installation the drivers, and not the extensive utility equipment coated with the printer. De-set up the utility/drivers. eliminate connection for printer. Reboot two times. set up drivers, following instructions on while to hook up the printer. Failing that, the printer ought to of bricked on you. does not be the 1st HP i've got seen do it.
