Eliot is a master. The Mill on the Floss is wonderful but I prefer Middlemarch.

I did, it tends to be a bit boring in the middle, but the ending is really sad, its supposed to be a tragedy. If you are into classics, u might enjoy it, but if u just want to know the story, read an abriged version.

I really enjoyed it. It's been over five years, so I don't remember too much other than the fact that I read it quickly...and didn't fall asleep reading it. I do remember giving a presentation on it in class.

yes....it does tend to get a little boring towarda the middle....but book third is really romantic and the ending just makes you cry.
