That depends on MANY factors. WHO is the album by? Is it in mint condition? Is the cover still like new? Is it recorded in mono or stereo? Is it an import? Is it an original copy - or a reissue??? These are just a FEW of the questions that need to be addressed!

I personally have about 1000 albums still. Some of them are quite common, and could fetch me about a buck in a yard sale. OBVIOUSLY, a rare collector's item will be far more valuable. You need to KNOW what you have - and research it!

there are a couple of good price guides out there, if you want to look...can probably buy one at a larger bookstore, or perhaps just check at your local library. Be aware that condition is the determining factor in value...the better shape the record is in, the more it's worth...though also note that rarity and demand shape the basic market...a mint condition Beatles album can always be sold for decent money, but you won't get much for a mint condition Michael Jackson "Thriller," since there was such an enormous amount pressed.

I would put it on eBay with a really high reserve and let people bid on it. That way, you find out what people are willing to pay for it without actually selling it. Or, the bid will exceed your really high reserve and you will make a boatload of money! But, I would make sure the reserve is so high that it's doubtful it will ever be met, like $20,000 or something crazy like that. It costs a little but at least you'll know what people will give you for it if you decide to sell.

They aren't worth mutch. $2 is average. Rare titles may be $25. I'm sure there is a title list somewhere on the internet. Vintage Vinyl is a big seller.
