Try a slower speed like 4X or *8x and make sure Your Disc is not copy protected check the net for a better program's I found Nero the worst to copy Cd's

Try burning at a slower speed.
Your writing laser may be dying or dead.
Your media might also be "too fast" for a 24X burn (slow by today's standards)
The media might also be "too slow" and writing at a slower speed may also solve that issue.
Not all media is actually the speed the are advertised at.
Also try not doing anything else (close all apps) while burning.

Dear Rasool,
This Was problem to me as well,it only happens when the quality of CD-R-RW is very low,specially when you buy the CD-RW that are less price in market,but try to find one good CD-RW,
you will never have these problems,

The unit reed automatically the the maximum speed suported for you disks (CD-ROMs)
And your disk are not so good and dont suport this
1. before burning modify manual the spped at less than 24x(or less than maximum)
Right click on the selected disk>proprierties>burn and modify the value in write speed box
2. Buy other CD-ROMs ()with the mention Certified at 24x

Try 4x instead of 24x. Also you can try a new CD-RW, sometimes when it's low quality it will not work.

that's the problem with samsung cd writers, we also have one here. I suggest you install nero, an option there that says simulation before proceeding to the real copy.

All i can advise is to increase your computer's virtual memory. How to do it? Got to Control Panel-> System-> Advance-> Performance -> Settings-> Increase your virtual memory. Restart your computer.

It seems that Ur CD writer driver is corrupted.
Please unistall ur NERO or whatever writing software you are using.
Then restart ur computer. again reinstall ur software(NERO)
