I got married two years back. My wife always inspires me to live separately. My parents & other members were coperative to her but now they dislike my wife due to her talkative nature & complaining attitude. She left me two times & stayed with her parents. I and my family members broght her our home after many requests. But again she leaft our home quaralling with my mom & younger brother. She tells me over phone that if I sepatelely live then she will come to live with me. In fact, my parents are very old due to their age. They need good behaviour. In this situation I can not live with her seperately. My wife's parents also dislike my parents & my brothers. Please advice me how to modify my wife.

Be understanding. It's hard to live in a house with other people, especially another family. We're living with my family at the moment and AHHH!!! I love them and all but I think it's better to live seperate if possible.
It doesn't sound possible for you all so maybe suggest she can have X amount of time per day to get away and do something outside of the home that she enjoys? Maybe she'd agree to something like that?

Number one she knew when she married you about the living situation. 2. you can't make her do ANYTHING, she has to want to. 3. if she is complaining all the time and can't get along with anyone she doesn't sound like a very unhappy person with herself. 4. Sounds to me like she came by it honestly from what you say about her parents being the same way. 5. She sounds a little demanding and spoiled and needs to be put over somebodies knee and spanked.

Every woman so dreams of having her husband all to herself, as i see from yr email you seem to find all the good qualities in your fly and have highlighted the negative qualities in your wife, i suppose your wife feels that you take sides, it also seems that you value yr faly opinion a lot. Take a stand, examine your heart ask yrslef how much u love her and all the things u love in her, dont run her down, but help her with understanding to overcome her shortcomings, go see her in her house and take her on a vacation, take a logn walk and talk talk and talk yr hearts out.

It'S called compromise you both have to give a little - Dude this is not the stone age women are women and they will pretty much rule your life as long as the have the power to do so. Second you need to stop being a slave and making excuses for your parents.

It happens. Improving only 1 side can not solve this type of problems. Unless you are unable to solve, it is better to settle seperately, but you need regular visit to your main family.
Because, after you are seperated, the love between each other will automatically created and soon, can be normal.

I'm sorry, it sounds like you're trying to force your wife to live by overseas social rules and she doesn't want to. In this case you have a dilemma which may not be resolvable because you want a subservient wife who will take care of your parents in the manner of your country of birth. She wants her own life, and appears willing to share a life with you. But not as a caregiver and servant for you entire family. Welcome to America!

I don't think its worth your time. She's left twice and you can not change anyone. Its foolish to even remotely think that it is possible. I am unclear on all of the details to your situation, but from a few of my own, don't think that you change her personality, that is what makes her unique. Sorry and good luck.
