I believe anything is possible. However, it the hurt is extremely deep, a friendship would, more than likely not be probable. If you hurt someone, you need to assure the bridges have not been burned. A friendship is a beautiful gift, not to be squandered.

There are two situations here.
1.If you have hurt the emotions of someone unknowingly and they do not love you due to that. OR
2. If they do not love you and as a result you have hurt them.

In first case, the problem can be solved easily. Just convince the person that whatever happened was unintentional and convey your feelings in a polite way. request excuse for your earlier behaviour and explain how much you value your friendship and need it. Your friend will surely excuse you and be your friend :-)

whereas in second case, it shows a revengeful mentality. that is something very serious and destructive, for yourself and also to others. It should be controlled, checked and avoided at any cost.
However, I feel your case is first and not second. It can be solved easily. approach positively with confidence.
Good lcuk. Bye

Did you do it deliberately because they don't love you? Is this your way of getting back at them?

Why would anyone want to be friends with someone who hurts them--whether it's physically or emotionally? It shows you have no respect for them, no regard or compassion for their feelings or beliefs.

Sounds kind of egocentric to expect someone to be friends with you after you hurt them. You're only considering your feelings, not theirs.

you hurt them emotionally. You do no deserve this persons friendship. Who is to say you will not hurt this person again. Hurt is not something that is easy to forgive. Hurt can stay with a person for a life time.

The rule of one bitten twice shy applies. Why would someone want to be friends with a person who has hurt him/her emmotionally. Remember what goes round comes around..that's Karma...so be prepared!

it is a self-defense mechanism in the human mind to reject anything that is unpleasant to them... the greater the displeasure, the more powerful the rejection...
