i'm thinking of buying a new laptop for games. dunno if i should get one with intel duo or AMD 64 turion...?

not many... i think... mostly business or enginerring software for intel duo...

There are veryfew softwares written for a specific processor, for logisitcal reasons it would just be a bad decision for siftware devlopers. I would go with an Intel, the new merom ship the core 2 duo, once its available at about the end of september. Also look for a laptop with a GOOD gaming card.

Intel DualCore is a type of processor. They're pretty much compatible with all other Intel/AMD products. I don't think you will get any problem playing games. What you should concern more is the performance. For performance I would recommend you to get AMD.

intel duo ... much better...you can check out the benchmarks just search on google and you can see.....good luck :)
