An average Jane can certainly become a doctor if she works hard enough and studies hard enough. Astronaut is a bit more difficult as you have to have the proper body type and sometimes that is more dependant on genetics than work-outs. If you have a dream that you truly believe in then it isn't impossible.

Like with any goal, action needs to be there. The only way a goal or personal dream dies is if you give up. In this world we have all kinds of choices, if you are wanting to be something like a doctor, then the time is now to 'plan' and then take baby steps along the way to getting to that spot (as a example: volunteer at a rest home, soup kitchen or even a vet -this way the opening to caring for another will give you experience and will help you down the road) Listening to negative influences and also self doubting will supress your goal. Nothing changes though until 'you' make the choice and sticking to it. Dreams are what makes goals -without dreams we'd have no effort.

Of course. Just take it in steps. If you look at the big picture of "becoming a doctor" it can seem intimidating but if you set short term goals then it becomes easier. Just focus on completing the next assignment and doing well on it. If you keep doing well on everything then eventually you will get there. It is not easy but hard work will get you there. Every doctor and astronaut had to work hard to get to where they are.

They can. If you know what you want and work hard for it, your dreams CAN come true. But there is no 100% guarantee. The trouble is, some people don't even know what they want. You CAN become a doctor. But you have to look at your circumstances also. If we are realistic, then we get better results. For example, if a person wants to become a professional football player and he is 60 years old then maybe he should look for some other goal.

When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are. When you wish upon a star your dreams come true. Ya know, the only thing Jimminy Cricket left out during our Disney childhoods is that it takes a lot of darn work. I've been batting my eye lashes for years and I never found my prince charming. Worse yet, I was never born a princess- just a middle class midwest girl who realizes that YES we need to work our butts off and YES our dreams really do come true. Especially if we DON'T rely on a man to achieve them. You GO GIRL!

Some dreams can come true.
Some are simply unrealistic.
If a short girl wants to become a runway model,
If a short skinny guy wants to play pro football ..
If a below average I Q student wants to be a Doctor ....
then they have unrealistic dreams and need to modify their plans.
but if you have a dream to have a nice life with a nice partner.. you can find this if you really look for it. Knowing your dream does help it come true.

Yes any of your dreams can come true if you want them to, but you have to keep in mind your dreams can often change, so make sure the dream you are working for is what you really want.
Good luck and best wishes.

I think that anyone's dreams can come true. You may have to work for it, but what dream isn't worth working for? I am finally pursuing my dreams to be a writer and an advocate. I am going back to school and I am 53. If I can do it, you certainly can.
