Actually, I'd be upset if a child of mine ever considered NOT marrying someone simply because of skin color or hair color or some other physical quality. All spiritual beliefs are about goodness, and there are good people in all faiths. But, there are people in religions who do not respect the beliefs of others, based on petty, earthly, non-spiritual reasons. I cannot imagine my children ever wanting to marry or raise family with that kind of disturbed, miserable and fearful person.

I'm not quite sure what an "opposite race" or an "opposite religion" are.
I would not care if my child chose to marry someone of a different race.
As for a different religion, you'd have to be a bit more careful about that. If both husband and wife believed that they could live together with different religous beliefs, then fine. But then they'd also have to decide ahead of time how they are going to raise their children. It must be worked out in detail before going through with the marriage.

Nope. Unless the religion was Scientology - cause that's not really a religion, it's an organized crime ring that survives on slavery.
Anyway, if my child could reconcile his/her differences with someone of a different religion, I would see it as a great thing. Even if they disagreed, actually, it would be good because both would probably become more open-minded and understanding of others than had they married someone who believed exactly the same thing they did.

No, if my child was happy with the other person and the other person was good to my child then I wouldn't care what race or religion the other person was.

nope. race & religion is not the important in getting married. if the two party are in love & accept each other, i think there's no problem with that.

Not at all. As long as said religion didn't involve something that went against moral principle.

No. I would not since all of us are not "pure", anything, there is some mix in the bloodline if you trace it. I am black, but my bloodline traces back to white on my mother's side.
