because breeding animals is done by not allowing some animals to breed by killing them while only allowing some to breed. it would be very cruel and inhumane to kill humans just because they have bad genes. In nature, bad genes are naturally weeded out because weaker animals are killed more easily removing them from the gene pool. however, in humans, with all the advances in medicine, everyone is surviving and the gene pool is getting watered down. i dont think there is a good solution to the problem.

Well they do it only on certain cases - mainly for medical reasons. Also genetic engineering is not quite perfect at the moment to do extraordinary things - But it is getting there.
For animals they do mainly for other purposes - like for Chicken to grow faster, have more meat - so that you could eat !
Also there is another issue when it comes to Humans - we still live in a society with a load of religious freaks - When something is done to a human or even an animal (example dolly - the cloned sheep) they seem to get offended and not see the scientific side of it.. That also has slowed down the process... SAD ya?

That would involve relinquishing the right to choose when and with whom you have sex with, that is if the old fashioned way wouldn't be banned in favor of more controllable methods like artificial insemination, ivf, etc.
Our tinkerings with animals and plants have made nearly all of them incapable of surviving, or in some cases even reproducing, without constant labor and investment of resources on our part, hardly superior in my opinion.

You can't force people to have sex with other people that aren't their spouse.
People are not animals, that's basically the answer. People have freedoms and aren't to be treated as animals. Animals are just dumb animals, so they can be bred for different traits.
People can't do that (unless other people like the Nazis are in power). This is why nobody wants the Nazis in power, because they are evil.
Only someone who is evil would want to play God and determine what other people would mate with what other people.

Because it calls ethics into question. Genetic modification would eventually lead to superficial physical characteristics, and then the issue of "making everybody the same" or eradicating uniqueness would bother people.

this could be an common one. If the worldwide gets too warm, we've shown that we can proceed to exist it because of fact the "Cradles of Civilization" have been in warm, dry aspects. If the worldwide gets chilly, then we've already shown that we can stand up to ice a while, and that's with out any "extreme" technologies. If the worldwide gets overpopulated, it is going to, out of necessity, stability itself out. i don't think of we could desire to rigidity approximately surviving the subsequent one hundred years. the genuine question is the thank you to we save the subsequent one hundred years from transforming into the subsequent dark Age.

Genetics has nothing to do with mindsets. The thing that needs to be improved is the mindset of human beings who have nothing better to do but kill another human being.

moral problems does not permit this application because there is some kind of try and error , it is possible to make in ordinary infants which is not acceptable among religions and nations ,furthermore there should be long way to ac hive the correct and complete knowledge of such genetic manipulations.
