You can't always have a rule to follow when it comes to late periods. Sometimes the late period might come back at the next regular interval, but usually it will come at any time. Sometimes it takes more then a month to get back on a schedule. If you recently started taking medicine or birth control, that will effect the regularity of your periods. If you are taking some type of new medicine for some health reason, tell your Dr about your irregular period. Of course, you could be pregnant too! Good Luck
