Because thet don't have a very high self esteem...so they need to impress by showing off. I think it's a sign of insecurity.

The worst inferiority one can ever grow up with is feeling unworthy of being loved or given attention or affection, such a child will always grow up to be a showoff, he will always try to impress others in a million ways, even when he is sixty two, just to get some attention and fail in both, because such people turn off other people as they themselves want attention for themselves, unless they want something from that person.
Unless a show off decided to start giving himself some attention he will always remain so.
A truly empowered person will first focus all his attention on himself and then share that attention with others, so every one is always happy and under their loving attention.

Its a good question and one I have thought about very often.
What is it that makes people want to show off? Inferiority complex does not lead to showing off, it leads to overachieving because the person has to prove to himself that they are worth something - its their perception of self that's the problem here.
People show off to be the centre of attention - usually because they can't get it naturally and so they have to keep beating their own drums while other try to hide their annoyance.

i think it's because they're so scared of being left out of things when you see a group of men walking down the street there is always one who's the loudest and then most of the others follow and so the first one gets louder and so it goes on when you see a group of ladies walking down a street they all seem equally loud so it's not so bad
i think with the guys it's just a inferiority complex because the one who's the loudest gets all the attention

I don't feel as if I am showing off when some people think that I am. I am actually giving of myself to all who will receive. When I sing, I do it well and so people might think Im showing off because they themselves feel smaller by having less confidence in their ability. Others though, to whom I sing, appriciate my efforts. I give to them something they can feel and relate to. I make them not alone. I sometimes juggle at random, when people seem bored... they all look and I do tricks to please their eyes. I am not trying to make them like me, they just do. This is not a trying. It is a natural act that is my nature. Some are born to do this. And it is FOR those who are of another purpose.

A lot of times, not every time, it is a matter of low self esteem which is an inferiority complex.

Everyone has a different way of trying to feel connected to society. Showing off may be the only way this person gets attention and thus social validation.

Some people do it for different reasons. Not everybody show's off for the same reason. There are varying factors. Both of your suggestions are probably true to some degree.

asserting you do no longer hate Jews, yet hate Zionists is actual anti-Semitic. in simple terms approximately all Jews are Zionists (as with maximum Christians and human beings international extensive). Being a Zionist in simple terms implies you have self belief interior the will for a Jewish state. today, the Jewish human beings have a rustic (Israel), and Israel actual has a valid nicely suited to exist. people who declare, "i do in comparison to Zionists as a results of fact xxxxxxx" are actual very anti-Semitic. those human beings do no longer take each element under consideration, and in basic terms blame Jews for those issues. Do human beings no longer comprehend that singling out Jews for each situation is anti-Semitism (and not anti-Zionism)?
