So i have a choice coming up within the next month or so, i can take a somewhat easy road and become an assistant manager at Pizza Hut and make roughly 30,000 a year give or take a few thousand, but if i do than i pretty much pass up on going back to school. I could really use the money cuz i'm dead broke and live paycheck to paycheck, but i really wanna better myself at the same time and i know i could further myself at Pizza Hut by going further than just Assistant Manager.. .... ***big Charlie Brown scream*** ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!! someone please give me some advise

Just remember, you have to start somewhere. Also, most employers provide tuition reimbursement, sometimes paying for all of your education if you study something that will benefit the company. For example, Assistant Manager at Pizza Hut can become Manager, then there is District, and God only knows after that! If you wanted to get a degree in Business Management, you would be set.

Living paycheck to paycheck is sadly the way for many Americans. It sucks. Royally.

Take weekend, evening or on-line classes. As has been pointed out, if you study management, the company may foot the bill.Try to find scholarships for management students. Avoid loans if you can. Most of us live paycheck to paycheck because we live beyond our means and are a plastic (credit card) society. Don't get married until all plans are completed.

Is making $30,000 a year really your dream job? I would certaintly hope not. You should go back to school. Living from paycheck to paycheck is the way a college students life should be. It's stressful, but it will be worth it in the end.

Take the job now and commit to leaving in two years, once you've saved up enough money to pay for most of your education.

you can do both if you put your mind to it. trust me, online classes, etc. I go to school at night, the classes only meet once a week. you could find a school like that and do one night class and an online class.

Does your new job require you to work nights?
There's always night and weekend classes at community colleges.

Do what your heart tells you to. Don't work a job if it doesn't satisfy your hearts desire.
