No Way!! I have had irregular periods since going off the pill at the end of 2004!! My husband and I have been trying since then to conceive. It is agony - each month and no period - peeing on a stick to get a negative result. Absolutely heart breaking!! I went to a Gyno and he prescribed fertility drugs but to no avail. With that my husband and I concluded that perhaps we will never conceive our own child. luckily in July I tooka HPT and it was positive!! I went to the dr and he confirmed it - we are so happy!!
So after having the thought of not our own biological children we have truly been blessed and there is no way that I'm giving any off them up!!!
After writing that I guess it is lucky that people do give their children up for adoption - as hard as I think it would be after the mother bonding with it for 9 months and then just letting go. That would be hard as I would be wondering every day who does it look like, what would be happening in my life is it was still here etc...
So that people who are infertile get to care and love for a child just like other child bearing couples!!

I could never give my son up. When I seen his eyes I was in love with him all over, which I mean from the first time I heard his heart beat, to his first kick, his movements, his everything. I just loved him. When I seen him all I could think was " how did this lil guy come out of me," I was in love with my belly when I first found out I was pregnant, My boyfriend and I had decide to have a child together, and we both are glad we made that choice.

I come from a land where women raise ten children but never give up their children for adoption. So I am not sure that I would ever give up my children for adoption.

Currently me and my husband are living in two different continents just for the sake of giving them the best life. I have stayed back to give them the education as there are no good English schools in the place where he lives.

So I guess its upto you how far you are ready to compromise and what are your criteria for defining a good life?

I don't know, I've never been in that situation, but I don't believe I could. Especially after seeing how hard it was for my biological mother.( I met her when I was 20)

I was adopted at birth so I have a lot of compassion for mothers who give their babies up for adoption, and give their children a better life. They are truly caring and loving individuals who's sacrifice is great, but they have such selfless love for their children. It takes a strong mother to look beyond what they want, and to look at the true needs of their children. If they can't provide that them, they are only doing what is necessary, and that is truly amazing♥

In some situations, adoption is the best option. I think some of the problems in our culture right now are due to too many kids keeping their babies when they should not have.
A baby doesn't belong to you, like a possession. S/he is a person, who should be treated like one, especially when thinking about the future.

If I thought it would be better for the child, I would let a good family adopt him/her.

I think adoption is a wonderful option. There always families looking for a child when they cannot have their own, or even when they have a nice size family. If I know that I would not be able to care for my child emotional, spiritual, and/ financially, I would give him or her up.

I can think of one instance. If I were unable to care for my child, and no one in my family were able to care for my child, then, yes I would give my child up for adoption. Like if I had terminal cancer and lived all alone, I think the child would have a better life if he or she were place with a healthy loving family that could better care for him/her.

personally i wudnt ever give my child up for adoption i think if your going to get pregnant then you should keep the baby and face up to your responsibilities, but there are alot of people that would die to have a child and that cannot and adoption is sometimes their only way so theres good and bad points to it

I would never do that. The day I decide to procreate will be the day that I become a billionaire, and so if I don't have a billion to my name, I won't have babies either. I believe that people should be more responsible and plan their pregnancies according to the amount of resources that they have. If you ain't got none...you've got no business reproducing yourself!
