An easy way to consider this is to look at the 11-step cycle of anger:
step one) Person A kisses Person B who is married to Person C.
step two) Person C witnesses the kiss.
step three) Person C calls Person D who is married to Person A
step four) Person C lets the anger grow and buys a gun
step five) Person C follows Person B until that Person meets in secret wit Person A
step five) Person C and Person D confront Persons A and B
step six) Persons C kills Persons A and B
step seven) Persons C and D drive the bodies of Persons A and B deep into the wilderness, down multiple dirt rads and across three counties and bury them
step eight) Person C suffocates Person D with a plastic bag and buries Person D, since Person D was a witness
step nine) Person C moves to Mexico.
step ten) Person C meets person G who had done the same thing to Persons E, F and H.
step 11) Persons C and G live out the rest of their lives, happily drinking margaritas.
And there you have the complete cycle of anger.

the three levels of anger as listed-#1 angry feelings#2 angry thoughts#3 angry behavior. in managing anger you learn to focus on AIT-defined as anger interruption technique. AITS is based on the idea of interrupting the cycle of anger. patients are instructed to draw a triangle resting across the tip of the triangle horizontal to the base is a anger ruler marked 1-10 tip of triangle pointed at the # 5 i know this requires a visual hang with me. this triangle is called AIT triangle. listed with in this triangle are your techniques for controlling the anger level at which you are at again the ruler. techniques #1 relaxation techniques#2 self talk and thought stopping#3 time out techniques. hope this helps.
