I live in a relatively dorky little apartment, and of course I would love to have something better. My dream is of a hotel-size log structure that I could run as a retreat house/retirement home for a bunch of aging hippies and witches. Wouldn't that be lovely up here in the Santa Cruz (California) Mountains, surrounded by all these wonderful big old redwood trees?
Got a few million dollars you can spare?

I live in a trailer beside other trailers. It sucks because there are no one but meth heads around me. Heck yes I would rather be somewhere else. At least out of the range of an exploding meth lab.

2-Story 5/3/3 for a single guy in his 20s...Didn't want to worry about home prices screwing me over down the road so I went ahead and bought something a lot bigger than I needed but the monthly mortgage sure friggin sucks.

I live in modest one bedroom one bath home in a desert community that I paid cash for and find it very pleasant and private. It's worth the years of sacrifice we made to own it and plan to stay awhile.
