Am looking for 18.5v 6.5a ac adaptor, compaq part no. 316687-001, for a hp pavilion zv5000, or equivalent, anywhere cheap???

You can get used originals and clones on ebay for about £20

There are now Hundreds of places to get a replacement, and they do not have to be the original Branded one. You do not mention where you are from ( Country ) but places like PC World or Amazon are a certainty. average cost used to be about £50,. I bet they are a lot less now. Best wishes

if your computer is still under warenty call hp and get it replaced for free
