The beauty of Baseball is that time does not govern it. Baseball games can go on forever. In other sports, score versus time left often has the game over before the final ticks are even a thought. But in baseball, you could be down by 20 runs with 2 outs in the ninth, and theoratically have a chance to keep the game going. If you ever attended a Day Time- Week Day Afternoon Baseball Game - you would swear you just beat father time out of a couple hours!.

Depends on the game. Sometimes they are over real quick, just because of the way the game is played, other times they are slower and go into extra innings. I would say the average is 3 hours.
