Is it legal?
are there and fees?
and other stuff like that?

it's free but I had it for a week and got a worm virus from a song download... It turns out the more people that share files on a free site the more trouble you can get into. Napster isn't free but it's better protected... I just had to warn you because karma will get me otherwise.... I referred some people to limewire >:~[

Whoever said they got a "worm" from a song download was badly mistaken. If you stick to .mp3 files, you cannot get infected.
Limewire is free, virus and spyware free. Downloading copyrighted files off the network, however, is illegal. Yes, you can get infected by downloading certain files, but like some idiot here said "Guaranteed spyware with every download", that's an outright lie.

Lime is
a) free
b) not legal if you are sharing music with others
c) has no fees unless you plan to upgrade which it will ask you everyday upon entering
LimeWire is also one of the more untrustworthy file sharing programs if you really want one check out Ares. It gives you much more control over what you choose to share.

Love it. Never had a problem. Upgraded to the Pro version for a onetime fee.

limewire is the best u can pay one time and dont have 2 pay anymore yes it is legal

not legal. its sharing with different computers and u can share stuff out. its not legal. there isn't any fees, as long as you use the trial version. full version is better and it costs about 50 dollars australian and theres like a lot of songs.

1st of all, all "song downloading softwares"(i.e. limewire, imesh, edonkey) are not legal.
2nd, unless you' re going to use limewire pro there are no fees.
limewire is great, at least for me coz i have a fair/quite fast internet connection.

it can be very illegal if you download licenced material.. but limewire itself is not eligal to own its a perfectly legal p2p network
