I recently renewed my phone plan for the next 2 years but 2 months later dropped it in water and is now broken. I would like a decent affordable phone to use for the next 2 yrs.

Do you have insurance?

Or check and see if you are eligible for an upgrade. You will have to pay, but it will be at a reduced price.

If you don;t have insurance, you cannot get a free replacement.

Yes, you should check if they will give you an upgrade based on your contract. You only signed it two months ago and they may .give you a deal. They normally give you the deal on the day of signing but they may give you a break in this case. No guarantees though.

I just renewed my contract with Cingular and got a good Nokia phone with all the bells and whistles for about $30.00 after rebate.
