I learned a lot about the culture and hard times with "Of mice and Men"
I enjoyed reading Animal Farm.
I never read the "raisin in the sun" or "a lesson before dying"

Animal Farm was in some way even funny comparing to 1984.. And it gave the feeling of 'I know what you mean' because i live in a post soviet country. I dont think that people who havent experienced socialism can really understand things in animal farm, while 1984 is different, as it is much more wider and much more describing than animal farm.

I have only read one of the books...Of Mice and Men...I love the book and the movie. It's just so tragic...i plan on reading Animal Farm...I've read Geroge Orwell's 1984 though

I think that it demonstrates critical thinking skills with the ability to understand the concepts behind these works.

You could have added "Waiting for Godot" in that list also I suppose
