I was raised a Christian and believe a lot of the principles in the Bible, when actively practiced, make the world a much better place. With that said, I'd love to address your question from a scientific point of view first before addressing it from a biblical/spiritual/creationist vantage point. Geneaological research has proven that every person on the planet alive today descended from the same common ancestor(s) that lived in Africa hundreds of thousands of years ago. DNA testing of genetic markers/mutations has proven this. So we are all distant cousins and all related. If you want more information visit http://www.national geographic.com/genographic. I guess the Adam and Eve story may not be so far fetched after all. Adam in his old age had another son named Seth. After killing his brother, Cain had a child with his wife. His name was Enoch. Enoch had a son who had a son who had a son and so on. Where did Cain's wife come from? The Bible says she lived in the land of Nod, East of Eden. Obviously Adam and Eve weren't God's only creations.

Cain was not Adam's son. And there were others , Where did Cain find a wife when he was banished? the land of Nod or modern day Africa. There were many children born to Adam and Eve something like 160.

There was a 3rd son named seth. also, in genesis there are 2 accounts of the origin of humans. According to that, It is possible that Adam and Eve weren't the "only" first humans, just a pair of the first humans. or the first of the first humans.

Some linguistic analysis suggests that more than one male and female was created by God.
The "Generations of Adam," as Genesis 5 is called, uses a form of words implying the creation of more than a single man and woman: "Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created."

Other traditions accept only the mention of Adam & Eve.

Another tradition has it that the Serpent fathered offspring with Eve. Jewish folkloric tradition maintains these creatures were giants; this notion is also susceptible to a racist interpretation.

Adam and Eve had so many kids that didn't even know each other, so they did it for a while. I guess we're al relatives in a way. Hey, sibling!

People are killing their parents, siblings, husbands and wives even nowadays, why are you getting bent out of shape. It was wrong and it is wrong now. Eve also had daughters. And yes these are our ancestors, better than being born from animals, don't ya think.

Adam, Eve got here from his rib. She became created to be his "companion". in case you recommend scientifically, nicely, the oldest human keeps to be ever discovered are around 250,000 years outdated and lady. They have been recent in Africa, the cradle of life. this does not instruct which gender got here first, although.

well from what's written, it would appear that only boys were born

HOWEVER, seems to me that the bible also doesn't exactly stand up for women's rights so for all we know, 50 daughters could have been born but due to their gender, they weren't mentioned
