I use to have the same problem, all I did was decrease the amount of money I carried around. I turned to a cash girl and left my credit cards and debit card home and used them for meaningful purchases. Plus u should get rid of some of the clothes u don't where anymore. Also get something big to invest in, like get a new car or join a club or get a hobby......just something else to put ur time and money into instead of clothes

its all in your head. what's making you want to get the newest bag or gadget everytime it comes out? Is it your friends, ads? Try and steer yourself away from those thoughts, because a new gadget etc. comes out nearly every month. Try to want what you have. Appreciate what you have.
If there's something out there you really want, save up for it, don't simply splash on anything, because in most cases, you end up regretting it later. Whereas if you study and do your research carefully, and make sure you really really want that special thing, you will definitely not regret it and appreciate it much much more than if it was an impulse buy.
Buying expensive clothes is not a totally horrid habit. I mean, you will most likely be getting something of good quality. Don't completely stop buying expensive clothes. Just limit your expenditiure on it.
Remember, its all in your head. Bags and gadgets aren't everything, even though it may seem that way now.

Are u working at this moment? if yes open a Save As U Earn account and tell the bank tt every month u need to save around $300 or more depending on yr salary. I think this could be one of the way you could solve the problem. Alternatively, bring minimum money and dun bring yr crredit card whenever U go shopping. This will only reduce yr urge to buy things.

How much money do you get. Set aside 25% of your money and leave it untouchable. Put that money in the bank. If your a studnt under the age of 18 you get better rates then older people. Every time you get moeny set aside that 25% take out your untouchable money only in emergincies. You will see how quicly that money accumelates and then you'll have some money that you did not spend on clothes and will teach you how to save.

Start another bank account whereby at the end of the month when you got your salary, you immdiately deposit some amount into.Keep enough or slightly more than enough in your original account for daily use.
Avoid going to places that you would attempt to buy the expensive stuff.

try setting aside a certain amount of money to save each month and put it in a locked box. on top of the box put a of list of bad things that will happen if you spend the money.
ex. not have money for college, can't get mom's b-day gift, can't replace the flat tire on your car, etc.
