horse's age= 2/3 x
carabao's age = x
now since the age difference is 4 .
then,
x -2/3 x = 4
3x-2x = 4*3
x =12
therefore, carabao's age is 12 yrs and horse is 8 yrs old .

so carabao is 6 years and the horse is 10 years
