I've always thought that past civilizations that had experienced this transition in time had their DNA transformed and were able to use the rest of thier brains for psycho-kenetic abilities. Just a theory.

All the planets won't be in alignment and the date that everyone's talking about is December 21, 2012, not the 12.
The alignment which happens on that date is between the sun and the Milky Way. No planets (except ours as a viewing platform) are involved. This is a once in 26,000 year alignment.
To the Maya, this alignment signified the beginning of a new world age (the sun being reborn).

When it happened in the 70's nothing bazaar happened. NASA took the opportunity and sent two sidelights out to observe the planets and there moons.Voyager #1 and Voyager #2.

Uhhh... absolutely nothing will happen.
These planets are SO far away and their gravities SO minute that the alignment is a pure coincidental happening.
Now magnet therapy... that's a science!!

I wont be able to see Saturn using my telescope because Mars and Jupiter would cover it !
Astrologically - something could happen - but logically Nothing should - but it will be very interesting - I didn't know till now that it was going to happen !

dont believe anything you hear about the end of the world. there can never be a true alignment of all the planets because of the planets alignments. never never never.
