To answer your first question, morality is based on the individual. You might not find such behaviour moral, but that's because you are viewing it from your own predetermined set of moral standards. Some might argue that there are also higher forms of morality. These could be the morals of a family, click, society or a religion -more to the point the morality of the gods of that religion. As to whom to lay the blame on, every person is to blame because we have chosen to be different and this can only be changed if everyone submits -hopefully willingly- to a distinct set of morals.

I would love to be able to answer such a pertinent question! Morals, style, integrity, what happened?
I looked up one day and they were gone. No one seemed to have any dignity or scruples anymore.
People think if you don't get caught then it isn't cheating. No one seems to have a conscience anymore. What happened to the Golden Rule? Now it appears to be Do Unto Others B 4 they do it to you.
I lived in L. A. all my life until recently and was very discouraged by mans inhumanity to man. Statistically we can say that over-population makes people crazier, and crass, brazen, rude, self-centered. The more people, the greater the odds that there will be more flawed people. There is inter-breeding, chemicals, drugs, polution, AIDS, all kinds of reasons for the brain to mal-form, but I think alot of it is apathy. People are just getting lazy. No pride, self-esteem, we live in a world where "good 'nuff" is considered "good 'nuff"
God help us.

Man, too bad for the guy who's taking care of a child that's not his. In an alternate situation, the community (village) would have taken the responsibility to help support that child with the non-father's full knowledge of the situation... oh well, better off for everyone else who doesn't have to confront him about the truth. Immorality begins with indifference followed by inaction, not the lack of some virtue called righteousness.

I think if you could set an example of yourself everyday of your life, you could somehow rub off to other people even if they ridicule you or somewhat hate you at first. sometimes change can come from one man.
These are happening because no one is telling them that what they're doing is not right and that it could go back to them as bad karma. Even if they don't believe in karma, it still happens. These are people who do not believe they can be stopped because they think having freedom of speech or anything like that is enough to let them do things that isn't good for other people, except them.
Like the saying goes, no one will be fooled if no one gets to be fooled.
Well in a different sense it can also be because times are harder these days, some people who have more, who leave stuff unattended, usually are the ones victimized.
People's morals are deteriorating because no one wants to reprimand a fellowman in fear of being ridiculed for his own sins. some people cannot accept that and so they just let go of the wrongs done unto them or unto other people because they want to save their own face. That, i think, is just plain selfishness, and vanity, and pride.
in my opinion, everybody is to blame unless somebody does or is doing something to stop these immoral people's acts. We must all, in some small way, help stop immorality even at the risk of being ridiculed or insulted. Stand up for your rights. everybody, including you, has a right to a peaceful and moral environment so fight for it. that's what makes heroes out of people. that's what makes our world a better place.

They have been sold out for other self serving things and ideas. We have only ourselves to blame and I don't mean personally but as a society as a whole for allowing it to happen and for not standing up and say that is unacceptable

stoped??
don't be so naive :) there is no need to stop it.
it needs to go on, for that morals become more and more invaluable.
your question is "what has happened to morals?"
then, morals has become more and more invaluable, the examples you gave, is the reason why morals become more rare and invaluable.
keeps your morals invaluable.
