Personally, I would choose Canada. I really value the Canadian culture and mentality. What about you?

As George Carlin put it.. in the US they care about you until you are born. After that, "you're on your own." I personally could never live in a capitalist country where human life means so little to the government.

I was talking to somebody who was thinking of immigrating to Canada from Italy on Thursday. (she is an unemployed Italian) She said Italy is a great place to visit, but to live.. really tough.

most of the people living in Asian countries prefer to live in the USA. because there is recognition for labour and Americans give value to free speech. even bitter opponents of America's foreign policies yearn to become the citizens of the USA. atheists who do not believe in reincarnation also like to be born in the usa. i like the democratic values of the americans. if plebiscite is conducted in the asian countries, i guess most of the people vote to become citizens of the usa.the reason is when we enter the usa we find liberty statue literally as well as literarily also.

I've been to a great many countries and have enjoyed something in them , everyone. I liked Canada and the way they take care of the people, especially the health care and children's programs.
I would never leave the US , my roots here go back to 1630, but I am fearful for my children and the families they will soon be starting and I can't say the day won't come when they will leave and I will stay.

I would love to live in my home country because I can feel and be myself again.

I feel rather lost right now.

I have already moved three continents and 3 citizenships. I have a little bit of this and a little bit of that and I have to tolerate gay marriages being legalised. I dont speak my mother tongue at all unless some family speaks it and I dont wear my traditional clothes. I do not do a lot of things that I do through my home and culture.

I have to tolerate oppressive people and sometimes communicate with them with a false smile on my face as I live in an environment of a mixed culture.

As you have mentioned canadian culture, I will say this. I have felt so suffocated and lonely in canadian culture that it is slowly turning me into a recluse.

Tolerating legalised gay marriages and having gay relationships plastered all over for everyone to put up with is not my kind of a tolerant society. It tells me that my values are not valued in a country like canada.

I have learnt so much about violation of human rights by canadians that it is suffocating to know I tolerate canadians everyday, who have and are violating human rights everyday.

Children in canada are being turned out to be these people who will have suppressed their own culture to become "CANADIAN"
What is canadian culture and mentality? Giving citizenship to human rights violators? Being seen as a peace loving and peace keeping country when they are violating the native indians in their own country?

Does anyone know how many native indians were killed to build canada? Whose money was it? British? But the british stole money from third world countries, the largest contributor being India. They stole money through and through and turned india into one of the poorest countries.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm. Canadian culture and mentality. I wonder if you know what it means.

I feel grossly violated because canada never told me the country was built on human rights violations.

I am too lonely in canada as I have not found like minded or family like environments here. I need family to survive.

Oh CANADA we have such a diverse country and a diverse population. Why would you want to live anywhere else. Oh yeah and if you don't like what's happening in the country just get a bunch of people together and the government will change it for you. It's great.
