If you like Windows, and are used to the Windows enviorment, then I would definately suggest the Blackberry 8700. From what I hear, this is the phone no one returns.
I have not used it. I have, on the other hand, used both the Cingular 8125, and the Palm Treo 650. I own the Treo, and therefor am partial to it. But it is not a Windows based phone, and might take a little more getting used to. Once you do get used to it, it works great.
Palm is going Windows mobile though, and their new devices will be Windows based.
The Cingular 8125 is a great choice as well, and very stylish if you want a cellphone/PDA. I am getting one of these for my wife this holiday season. She has asked for the Slivr L7, but it isn't a PDA, and I want her to get a PDA.
If you really want a comparison from people who have owned the phones, then you should visit the site that most "experts" go to to get an opinion on these things. http://www.phonescoop.com
This is the one stop site you will ever need to make a decision on PDA/handhelds.
If you are looking for the second best site in the industry, then go to http://www.engadgetmobile.com
These two sites will give you more information than you can imagine in making a nice informed choice.

The answer, in part, depends on the cell carrier you choose, as each carrier may have an exculsivity with the cell phone manufacturer. Having written that, I would recommnd the Palm Treo as the best smartphone on the market. It is small enough to put in your pocket, yet powerful enough to do many things from personal to business-related tasks.
The Palm Treo is now available in a few flavors, depending on the carrier. The best appears to be the Palm Treo 700w with Verizon. This Treo comes with Windows Mobile operating system (OS), and is easy-to-use, yet powerful smartphone, with gorgeous screen.
For full set of features, click on the following link:

Alternatively, the Motorola Q is the latest smartphone on the market that appears to be liked by most users. It is smaller than the Treo, but has similar features.
You can't go wrong either way, but my personal preference is Palm-based products, as I have been a long time user of their handheld.

SE p910i.
As far as I researched, everyone who uses it, is happy with it. Memory up to 1 GB seems enough for the moment. And its price (I hope) will decrease with the announcement of new SE pda phone medel -p990...
