Yes, however the real question is when? You see, that's the difficult part to answer. The NFL wanted so badly to make their last expansion to L.A. All L.A. had to do was come up with a good stadium plan, a solid ownership group, and show that there was real interest. They were unable to show any of these. The Houston bid on the other hand was outstanding, nearly unbeatable. The city of L.A. is going to have to man up a better plan next time if they want to land they next expansion bid. They've got a leg up because of the TV Market, but that is only one piece of the puzzle.

The next time there is an expansion Los Angeles will probably be the top selection, so it's just a matter of when team(s) are added. As you mentioned, LA is the second largest media market so obviously the NFL would like to have a team there. The city is going to have to support the team, however, which has been an issue in the past. Perhaps through no fault of it's own, but LA doesn't have the best track record with having an NFL franchise.

It will happen by 2010, I'm sure of it. I have a similar problem in Philly. In MLB, we are the largest single team market, but there is an organization that pretends to be a major league team called the Phillies that I wish would move to another city. The Sixers can go too.

the 2ND largest market with-out a NFL team is crazy,
the NFL needs to look at themselves.
it's not right for the L.A. market to suffer.
