How do you get music ringtones?

Question

I want to beable to set my phone to play music to the caller when someone calls. Is this phone specific?

Clarification - I don't mean so I can hear a specific song, I mean so the caller hears the song in place of the regular ring tone. I have 2 phones, one is an MP3 player and one is a regular spring camera phone.

not sure if it is phone specific. All my phones have been able to do it. Tell us which handset you have.
