Absolutely not. It's as if Canada invaded Montana under the guise it's rooting out militia groups and wouldbe home-grown terrorists (a.k.a. Tim Mcveigh) there.

That wasn't all!

Hezbollah lives and operates from Lebanon, even though they are state supported by Iran and Syria!

They have been using Lebanon for years, Hezbollah killed 232 US Marines in 1983 in Lebanon and a US District Court judge ruled Iran was behind it!

At least Israel was attacked, which is a hell of a lot more than I can say about our involvement in the 40,000 civilians we have murdered in Iraq!

Absolutely justified. Besides what was Hezbollah doing with all those weapons pointed at Israel? They should have been disarmed a long time ago. The fact that they had all those weapons proves Israel's point. I blame the Lebanese casualties on Hezbollah who uses civilians as human shields and fight from civilians areas.

The Israeli response has been too slow and too WEAK. Israel would be justified in sending in all the troops it can muster to exterminate all Islamo-facists in Lebanon.

The rest of the world would be justified in helping Israel put an end to the enslavement of the Lebanese people by Hezbollah... alas, the world is cowardly, it waits for Israel to save its azzes and complains while waiting behind the skirts of political correctness.

Yes. Someone has to stand up to bullies. It is very sad that so many innocent people have to suffer because of a group of thugs decide to attack Israel. If there was no attack by Hezbollah then Isreal would not be in Lebanon. If you are for Hezbollah than you are an enemy of Israel and the USA.

If I was Lebanese I would not want Hezbollah in my country.

Isreal must defend herself with such force because most of her surrounding "neighbors" want to see her completely destroyed and wiped from the face of this planet.

First of all let me say that Israel has yet to destroy civilian infrastructures with the exception of parts of Beirut airport, to prevent transportation of ammunition to Hezbollah. The reason for this is that Israel, as opposed to any other terror organization, does not believe in a collective punishment.

As an Israeli who lives in New York but recently came from a family visit in northern Israel, I can sayto those people who object the Israeli operation in Lebanon: You are not directly involved in this situation; hence you do not know how it feels to be a part of this complex issue.

Hezbollah is a ruthless organization that is funded by the evil regime of Iran and with the assistance of Syria. The Iranian president is a fanatic Muslim who believes that the state of Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth, who supports the agenda of Adolph Hitler, who goes against the American capitalism and basically has a vision of a radical Muslim world.

I want you to consider very hardly the following question: How should the US respond to missiles fired from Mexico to cities and towns in California?

Hezbollah's action of kidnapping two soldiers and injuring others, along with firing rockets into northern Israel was an unprovoked attack. An unprovoked attack means for example that you mow your lawn on a beautiful Sunday morning and your neighbor comes to your house, kidnaps your child and on the way out kills your wife. How would you respond to such an attack?
The Israeli retaliation is not just the answer to Hezbollah's initial act, but is a tedious military operation whose purpose is to destroy the very foundation of this terror organization. As in every war, there are innocent civilians that unfortunately get killed,, however, killing civilians has never been Israel's goals. The job of "fishing" terrorist from populated centers has never been easy, I must say, especially when the cancerous Hezbollah exploits the Lebanese people and attacks from private houses, schools, hospitals etc.

Since the Israeli withdrawal from South Lebanon in year 2000 Hezbollah has been firing rockets on Israeli towns occasionally with the purpose of killing innocent Israeli civilians. Israel whose purpose is solely to defend itself by attacking Hezbollah is being condemned worldwide by two faced country leaders among them an incompetent organization called the United Nations.

For those who forgot September 11, the bombing in Britain, the train accident in Spain, the blowing up of buses by suicide bombers in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem and so many other attacks on civilians around the world, I suggest opening your eyes and minds before it hits you again in your hometown.

If you believe that evil is good then go ahead and condemn those who fight for their freedom, but if you believe in freedom, you must join the effort to eliminate the radical Islamic terror groups that attempt to control our lives.

One more thing... After reading the response of the guy below me I can suggest one thing: Do not believe to everything they tell you. Always check the facts for yourself. There is a huge debate going on in this world as we speak, and many people want you to believe things that have never happened.

It's not about two soldiers. It's about thousands of Israeli civilians killed by Hezbollah rockets, and by over a decade of other attacks by Hezbollah terrorist attacks. Hezbollah has vowed to wipe Israel off the face of the map, and has continued to attack Israel again and again and again and again and again and again over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

Israel has two choices. Either allow Hezbollah to continue attacking Israel without any reprisal, or stopping Hezbollah once and for all.

See the link below for a story that explains this concept by analogy.
