What are your views about directors of large companies often recieved much bigger salary increases than ordinary workers.Employer's organization say that in a global market this is necessary to attract the best management talent.What are your views

I think it is ridiculous, most of them get paid whether the company performs or not. Even if the company loses money, most get their money plus very cushy bonuses. I do not think it is necessary for the global market. If a manger consistently under performs who would want to hire him. I think, at the very least, bonuses should be based on how well the company does. I think the model of a corporate manager should be the CEO of Costco. I guess it is the same old story....the rich get richer, while the poor get poorer!!!

I believe it is wrong to do that. By doing so they cut off the ordinary workers, the ones that really matter. If you think about it a company is nothing without the little man working behind the desk or whatever job it is.

honestly i think that stars and athletes shouldnt get paid as much as they do i think that teachers and everyday people that make a difference should get the big bucks see they make the younger generations what they are

it's who you know in this world. Most muckety mucks in these positions know someone in power to get these gigs.
