It depends on where you take it....It can vary...I work at an auto repair shop over the summer helping and the price for an oil change at my job is $35 ...Just be careful where you take it too...Usually they are supposed to change your oil, change the air filter and put more air in your tires....Some places say they change the air filter but leave the old one in....Make sure you check they changed that...It should be clean looking.

First, the unhelpful: I don't know. To correct what somebody said above, the BMW oil change is not exactly the same. Unlike most cars, BMWs do not use oil filters that can be unscrewed from the engine. Instead, there is a housing on the engine that must be opened, and the filter, which looks a bit like a role of toilet paper, is taken out. It's more difficult, but shouldn't cost much more, provided that the place you take your car has the filters, and knows how to replace them.

The cost of an oil change should not change according to the vehicle. The procedure is the same on all. Drain old oil. remove filter. Replace new filter. Replace drain plug. Add required amount of oil. You could do this yourself and only spend 15 min. or so. Your manual will tell you how much oil to put back in and what filter to buy if you can't read it on the old one. Most large auto parts stores will take the old oil for free. Advance, Auto Zone, etc. then you only have the cost of the oil and a filter. (arround $20)

If your car is under warranty, you might have to take it to the dealer and it will probably cost around $125+. If you don't have to take it to the dealer, ask your friends where they have their oil changed, and if there is one of those $49 oil change places in your area, they can be ok, but just be sure you find out if they do good work before you take your car there.

Depending on where you take your car. Your local jiffy lube or e-z lube will probly have a special for $19.99 or $24.99 but you will walk out paying about $40.00 after taxes and all other cost. You can do it yourself for around $15 to $19 also depending on what brand of oil and filter you choose.
