No. There is javascript available, if used on an unscrupulous website, that can read what you have stored in your clipboard when you open their site.

From http://www.auditmypc.com/security-patch.asp:

Clipboard Access: How to prevent websites from scanning your clipboard or breaching your clipboard security. [Applies to Internet Explorer only.]

Tools > Internet Options > Security > Select a security zone > Custom Level > Scripting > Allow paste operations via script - set this to prompt.

Set "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins" to "Disable" or "Prompt".

Sounds like a good idea. You could keep all the stuff in a notepad file made on a known clean computer.

to do this you would need to have it stored on computer.so if you have a key loger on pc it is most likley there is a trojen sitting there some where.so i say no.best way is to run virus protection to check for any thing before going to internet to buy any thing.i allways run a check first when i want to buy over the net.

The safest way is to type it using Windows built-in On Screen Keyboard (OSK).

I don't see how but I could be wrong. Besides, you'd have to type it somewhere in order to copy and paste.
