I have a 1989 toyota camry and everytime i release the brakes, i hear this loud squealing noise that is coming outside of my car. I recently got my brake pads and rotor replace, but i still hear this sound everytime i release my brake. I ask the guy who fixed my car why i hear this noise and he told me something i didn't understand so i just said oh i see. Anyway let me emphasize that the noise is cause immediately once i release my brake pedals and not when i stepping on them.

Well, let me also say that this problem occured before i got my pads and rotor replace. The mechanic told me that my car is old and i forget what part he said i need to replace, but it will cost me a lot of money to do so, so i decline to replace it.

The rear brake shoes are squeaking against the backing plate when you release the pedal. It is nothing to cause a failure, just an annoyance. Usually what a technician will do to solve this problem is, clean the rear brake shoes and apply a light coating of grease to the backing plates, between the backing plates and the edge of the shoes to stop the squeak. The moisture from a wet road, puddles, etc will make the backing plate for the rear brakes form a light coating of rust, a little grease in this area should solve your concern.

attempt squirting the brakes with a hose. that's less complicated to flow to a self provider automobile wash that has the severe tension hoses for laundry your automobile. positioned on previous outfits so as which you will get down on your arms and knees and factor the severe tension sprayer to the lower back area of the front wheels. do no longer complication approximately unfavorable something, because water usually splashes up on a wet day. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, whilst your leaving the motor vehicle wash, push on your brake pedal some situations to dry out the brake pads and rotors. This assumes that your front brakes have been checked and are ok in any different case.
